Description

The porcelain Chim Chim Scent Diffuser, designed by Japanese designer Ryosuke Fukusada and Portuguese designer Rui Pereira for HAY, is inspired by the idea of a miniature fireplace. Chim Chim combines a modern design with the ancient ritual of burning oils fill your room with your favorite aroma.

The scent diffuser is made of two parts, one to hold the wax light and another to place on top of it to contain water with a few drops of oil. The heat of the flame will warm the water, causing the oil to slowly evaporate.

Homework's story begins with a search for balance. After years of working for brands as a graphic designer, founder Stephanie was craving something that combined her love of design, community and the healing power of nature. And while the words home and work had always resonated in two different worlds, their joining together felt like the yin and yang she needed. This idea of opposite but interconnected elements that find harmony as a pair gave us our name: homework.

When you firts lit the candle, burn it until the melt pool reaches the edge of the jar. Also remember to trim the wick to 5 mm before relighting.

Shipping costs

The Netherlands

We are happy to offer free delivery on all domestic orders over €100.

Orders with a lower value ship for €7 or €5 when it fits a mailbox.

Europe

Regular orders to Germany and Belgium ship for €8. Customers from France, Luxembourg, Austria and Denmark receive their orders for €12.

The standard shipping costs for Spain, Italy, Portugal and most other European countries are €16.

An additional shipping fee may be added when orders exceed standard dimensions.

Rest of the world

We offer worldwide shipping of small items and accessories. Standard international shipping costs are based on the weight of your order and are calculated at check out.
