Payment methods

You can pay for your order with Ideal, Credit Card, PayPal or Mister Cash. Payments to The Fine Store are safely conducted through Mollie payment system. They guarantee that your transaction will be made securely. As soon as your payment has been received, The Fine Store will complete your order and deliver it to you within the stipulated delivery time. Please note that international orders may take longer to process and deliver.


Transport costs

We are happy to offer free delivery on all domestic (The Netherlands) orders over €50,-

The Fine Store offers worldwide shipping of small items and accessories ordered online. Standard international shipping costs are calculated at check out.


Worldwide shipping

We are happy to offer worldwide shipping. Accessories and small furniture can be ordered online wherever you're based.

However, international orders placed through our website have a maximum order weight. When your order exceeds this, you won't be able to proceed to checkout. In this case, please contact us by email so we can deal with your request on a one to one base and provide you with a shipping quote.

Keep in mind that, outside of Europe, you may be charged for local import duties and custom charges on the arrival of the goods in your country.


Delivery time

All small items and accessories in stock will ship during our opening hours, within two days. In stock furniture will ship within five business days, as specialist transport needs to be organized. Orders can also be picked up in our store in The Hague.

Some furniture is made to order. The estimated lead times are stated in the product information. Please get in touch if you wish to receive detailed information.

If the order includes items that are not in stock, the items will be sent together when the order is complete. If desired, the items that are in stock can already be picked up in our store.


Shipping methods

Your orders of small objects and accessories will be handled via Post NL for all shipment and delivery services. Please do note that Post NL does utilize local partners as carriers in other markets outside The Netherlands.

Most furniture and large items will be delivered by specialized transport. All furniture deliveries are done at ground floor at the entrance of the house or building, performed by one person. The driver might ask the customer to give him a hand while unloading the products. If you want a delivery on the upper floors, this is possible on request with extra delivery charges. Please contact us to get a quote for this type of delivery. When your order is packed, we will contact you to arrange a time of delivery.



As soon as the order is placed and paid for, it cannot be cancelled. The reason for this is that the orders will be processed immediately, to achieve the shortest possible delivery period. Of course articles can be exchanged or returned, with the exception of customized articles.

If you have placed an order that you wish to change or cancel, please contact us by phone within 3 days after the order has been made. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a full refund for the value of the merchandise only. Shipping and handling costs will not be refunded.


Right of withdrawal

We hope you are happy with your purchase from The Fine Store. However, if the order does not meet your expectations, then it can be returned. Note that there are certain conditions attached to this process.

You have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. This period commences on the day after the product was received. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by email.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Please note that we are unable to offer a refund on rugs, showroom models and furniture items that are made to order, or ordered for you on request.

During the withdrawal period please treat the product and its packaging with care. Only unpack or use the product as far as necessary in order to be able to assess whether you wish to retain the product.



If you wish to exercise the right of withdrawal, then return the product to The Fine Store, with all associated components and in the original state and packaging. Please do not forget to pay fully for the return postage as incorrect postage payments will not be accepted.

Once we have received your email informing us of your intention to return articles from your order, and we have received the returned merchandise, we will send you a confirmation e-mail. Once we have established that the returned merchandise has been received in good condition, we will reimburse you for it (excluding the costs for return postage) into your bank account as quickly as possible, though the latest within 30 days.

On all offers, orders and agreements of The Fine Store our terms and conditions will apply. The acceptance of an offer or the placing of an order implies that the purchaser automatically accepts the stipulations set out in these general terms and conditions.
